Milan & Lake Como

Rick Steves is one of the first American Travel Personalities to make Americans familiar with  Lake Como. Nowawdays due to celebrity and Instagram, many more folks know about this beautiful area. Milan and Lake Como are gems in the north of Italy. Lake Como is only an hour north of Milan and worth adding to your itinerary. Becuae of high speed trains, Venice or Florence can be reached in about 2 1/2 hours.

AC Boat Rental

AC Boat Rental has a lot of options if you want to get out on Lake Como. they rent Kayaks, Boats (no licence needed) or captain driven private boats. The pricing is fairly affordable for private tour with about $300 for 2 hours and $400 for 3 hours. Boats can be rented with no need for a boat license. Those prices are by the hour. 2 hours is about $120, 3 hours $160.
